I have read that Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties. Since I have rather severe osteoarthritis, I decided to give it a try. I also read that the capsules can pass right through you so I puncture each capsule with a sharp knife before consuming. I also drink Turmeric tea mixed with Rooibos tea every day. There are some contraindications to taking any and every supplement including Turmeric so I strongly advise you to check with your doctor before you start this or any other supplement or over the counter medication. All that being said, I have noticed a difference in my low back pain as well as my left wrist pain. Both these issues have been addressed by my appropriate specialists and both have been treated rather conservatively with warnings that the next steps would involve major surgeries. I am now almost completely pain free. I cannot promise you that Turmeric is the cause of my amazing results but I am definitely sticking with my current regiment. So, if you are someone who might benefit from an anti-inflammatory and have been cleared by your doctor to take Turmeric, my advice is to try it. But again, puncture the capsules and some say take on an empty stomach and I say take with a full glass of water.
Good luck, and if this helps you, I would love to hear from you on this.
P. S. Turmeric is a spice and a dye, so, try not to get it on any fabric as it is very hard to remove.
I have heard about it also. Judy takes it and it seems to have helped her. I might try it after I talk to my doctor as so much of everything interacts with my blood pressure medicine or I am sensitive to alot of weird remedies . Glad it is helping you.
