Just some short messages on how to do life!
- Wash your hands more often. Also, when at home, after using the bathroom, soap up and don’t forget to also wash the faucet handles.
- Drink more water. More and more studies are showing how important water is to your body.
- Be kind to all you meet. Remember, every single person is carrying around some baggage.
- Count your blessings. No matter what your circumstances are there are probably many people worse off than you.
- Think about the “What if everybody did that.” For instance, throw trash down where it doesn’t belong. Or, don’t signal a turn where you are supposed to. Or, run a red light. Or, snap at some undeserving person just because you are having a bad day. Etc., Etc. On the plus side, what if everyone determined to say something kind to someone every single day. If no one is available then say it to yourself. Or, what if everyone tried to protect the environment. For instance, do not let your water run endlessly when not needed, such as when you are brushing your teeth. Etc., Etc.
- On making a tough decision, try the “is this a win, win outcome?” Or a “lose, lose outcome”? Or a “win, lose outcome”? This should help you solve the problem.
- Try hard not to let your regrets of the past or fears of the future be your twin monsters that destroy your joys of today. Trust me, life flies by, and before you know it, you are in your 80’s!!!!
- Trust your body. Do not put off seeing a Doctor for something going on with your body that you know is not right.
- Keep track of what your urine and feces look like. I’m not trying to be funny here. If your urine is not clear and “straw colored” you could have a problem. Keep in mind though that there are foods and medications or vitamins that can alter that fact. For instance, Vitamin B-Complex can temporarily make your urine light orange colored. But if you cannot explain it, your urine should be clear and very light colored as stated above. Your feces should not be black, tarry looking or be bloody looking. See your Doctor if you have questions about your urine or feces.
Good ideas. Never thought about washing faucet handles other than when cleaning the bathroom. Good job, Dixie
