I have had so many nice responses to my first anti-inflammatory diet post that I needed to do an update. So here goes;
I had a fabulous result from my self imposed anti-inflammatory diet that I have continued it religiously for all this time. Unfortunately, my severe L4 spinal stenosis has reared its ugly his head to the point that I am scheduled for yet another L4 Laminectomy. This time on the right. My Neurosurgeon assures me that this same surgery that I previously had done on the left will not weaken the L4 spine. Who knew?!!! Seems like when you cut out part of the spinal bone, and do it on both sides of that bone it would weaken it. I’m a Physician but I did not know that. Anyway, I’m disappointed that this is happening. At least I have foregone the left wrist surgery and just keep getting the injections, now only once a year. But suffering this gawd awful pain down my right posterior thigh, right calf, and down to my right heel has finally necessitated this surgery. Hopefully, I will have the good result from this L4 surgery that I had from the previous one on the left.
So, bottom line here is that I still believe in an anti-inflammatory diet as well as continuing to drink lots of water. I also believe in help from CBD and THC. But State laws differ and everyone needs to stay up to date on the laws where you live as well as exactly what the difference is between the two. I do have a blog on this. CBD didn’t really help me much in the past but there may be improvements now.
