1.  Floss your teeth and then brush at least once a day. You really should do this at night if you only do it once a day and that is because food particles left overnight just sit there in a dark, damp, warm, place and bacteria love this.!!
  2. Cut out sugar, red meat, fried food, and any kind of white pasta, white bread, white rice, etc. (use only whole wheat substitutes here). Just try this for one week (just seven days) only, Yes, you can do this. Just see if this doesn’t make a difference in whatever chronic pain you are having. Ie, joint pain, etc. I know, this sounds like a lot to try but if you notice a big difference (as I did), you may stick with it for longer than one week!!!!Happy anti-inflammatory diet. My pain from osteoarthritis has decreased dramatically and I have lost weight! Forgive me if this is TMI. LOL
  3. Drink more water! Yes, this is so very important I have to mention it. If you tend to be just too busy to drink more fluids (not carbonated and not alcoholic) then you are setting yourself up for kidney damage. It may take years but trust me. Keep track of your kidney function test to be sure they are always in the normal range. These three results are especially important….BUN, Creatinine, and estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR). If any of these are abnormal, talk to your Doctor.  But drinking more water is extremely important for many reasons to help your body run smoothly. So, eight glasses a day!
  4. Remember, generally speaking, men are visual people. It’s in their DNA so they can’t help it. That’s why males don’t remember things you tell them as much as they remember things they “read.”
