What if: What if you now are kind of used to the fact that yes, you have stage 4 ovarian cancer and the Chemo Therapies seem to be working. One of the cancer test( a Cancer Antigen Test with a 35 number or less being normal) that was given you immediately after you were seen and diagnosed came back at 140 and the next one came back at 44 which was good but not as good as the last one which came back at 25! My GynOncologist was very pleased and I was thrilled. It definitely meant my specific Chemo Therapies were working. As a matter of fact my next CT scan came back as showing that my original mass had shrunk by half, with no new metastasis, and some other positive results. So everyone was happy with this news. My surgery is still scheduled for July 22, 2025. I am doing a lot of research and a lot of praying. So my next Blog with a What If title will probably be a while from now. Seems as though I will turn 90 years old in the hospital on July 23rd. Not the way I had planned to turn 90!!!
Thank you each and every one who is following this rather ominous journey with me.
God Bless.
